CD artwork for Radar Studios' Crop Over 2K10 compilation - It's been a while Behance! Here's a project I worked on earlier this summer for Barbadian producer Elmore 'Radar' Roach's Radar Studios Crop Over 2010 compilation. The album is a break from the average Crop Over release as it features only Ragga-Soca songs (for more info on the genre click here) and not the standard Barbadian Calypso associated with the Crop Over festival.The budget for this project was not big, so the decision was made to go with an illustration-based design. The design also helped distinguish the album on shelves, as most other albums rely heavily on photography. The aim was to generate a fresh, vibrant design that captivated the viewer as well as capturing the vibrance of the music genre.
