Logo Design and Branding - My old and very good friend Maria Kublalsingh decided some months ago that she wanted to form her own Consultation Agency - Nibiru Concepts. This agency was to facilitate her dynamic background in the fields of Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations; coupled with her desire to bring about positive change within society. In short, the agency and relevant branding had to appeal to a wide array of industries and individuals.Nibiru (also transliterated Neberu, Nebiru) is a term in the Akkadian language, translating to "crossing" or "point of transition", especially of rivers , i.e. river crossings or ferry-boats. To help illustrate her crossing of disciplines, Maria wanted to have a design based on a heptagon (a seven-sided geometric shape).After experimenting with different treatments, we decided on the design shown below. Simple and clean, yet striking; Maria felt that the design and colour treatment captured the essence of both her and her work perfectly.The agency is still small, so this project will be a work in progress.
